Emma Shipley Wilderie Wonderland
The Brief:
The client wanted to create a compact, statement space to show off the latest collection of Emma Shipley fabrics and wallpapers: Wilderie. The booth was to be showcased as part of a press event at design week.
We wanted to celebrate all things colour, fabric, fantasy and maximalist patterns, but combining them with Sofie’s own signature sense of style to show their true versatility.
The Solution:
True to her passion for colour, Sofie decided to take maximalist patterns and style them in a more minimal way. She chose to use panels of fabric and coloured walls, just like she would choose for her own home.
Earthy tones, oranges and golds were used in block panels to contrast against the brand’s bold prints. By layering up tonal textiles in different patterns, she added an unexpected twist and a nod to Emma Shipley’s maximalist personality.
